The fabric is really nice and feels high-quality. Had my groomsmen wear these for the wedding, and everything held up well. Buttons were sturdy, and the pockets were a bit small, but it wasn’t an issue. Everyone said they were comfortable to wear all day.

Was unsure about the recommended size, but it ended up fitting perfectly. Quality is much better than expected, and the style is worth every penny. Planning to get another color soon!

Bought the vest according to the size chart and it was a great bargain. The color is beautiful and the fabric feels great. However it was a little loose in the belly for my son, tightening the straps at the back made it fit perfectly.

The fabric is great for spring/summer. I was impressed with the overall quality. Be aware these are raw edge slacks that will require alterations. They were about 36 in long. Even with that small expense we are really pleased with this deal.

This is a very nice suit for the price!!! The pants are unhemmed, so you will need to alter to length. Because it comes as a set, it's difficult to get the pants AND the jacket to fit just right. We ordered a 44R in jacket (he is 5'10"" with fairly long arms) and the set automatically comes with 39"" waisted pants (my husband is a 36"" waist) so those needed to be altered. My recommendation is to order the correct jacket size and have the pants altered- since they are easier to alter. This is NOT a custom suit, but VERY nice and certainly a better option than paying $400 for a custom fit that you will outgrow by the next holiday season. Just order the correct jacket size and (unless you are a very odd shaped) you can make the pants work nicely. Very happy with our purchase!

My husband wears suits often, usually twice a week, but he needed a navy suit, so we had nothing to lose by giving this a try. He has worn this many times since we purchased it and always looks very good. It is classic and classy without spending hundreds of dollars and has become one of his favorites. We selected the standard cut of the suit as it was for a mature man and a slim cut would be inappropriate and look ridiculous. It needed no alterations, just hemming the pants. His only criticism is that the fabric is a little too smooth and when carrying a suit carrier over his shoulder for travel it tends to slide. For normal use you will enjoy it and look great in it.

This is only the second suit I've owned and I wish I would have bought it sooner. My previous suit of many years has served me well, but styles have changed and I wanted to get something more on the ""slim"" side. For the price this is hard to beat and it fits me well, after having the pants hemmed. I'm sure there was some sacrifice on overall quality since this suit cost 1/4 of my other suit, but I'm pleased and certain this suit will work well for the couple of times a year that I'll wear it.

I needed a suit and pants that I will probably only wear once or twice. It is really nice considering the price. I would have paid 6 times more at the local men's shop. Fit is close: will have to have the cuffs and pant legs tailored just like any suit off the rack. Bottom line: pay $100 and look good enough or $600 with the same result. I am glad I bought this suit.

I like the color, the sleeves are big in circumference and long. The material feels nice. The pants (like all suits today) needs to be hemmed up. Why cant we find a suit that you can order the pants separate from the coat? My husband takes a 48R coat but the pants that come with that size is too big....

I ordered a 36 S for my husband for Christmas. The jacket fit perfect but the pants were too tight in the waist. The pants are 30 and he wears a 32. I hope I can send the pants back and get the size 32 waist but so far I can't find help with that. The pants aren't hemmed but all suits come like that. I have no problem in hemming the pants.

Suit quality was fine. I was unable to figure out how to get the correct size coat and pant based on the size options provide, took some time with it, ordered, and was way off. Perhaps your experience will be better. Purchasing as suit separates with convention sizing would have been a much better option.

The size chart will indicate waist, belly and chest measurements. I do have a pretty big belly and muscular chest. I took the measurements where the diagram shows. It turned out perfect. The pocket is deep enough to hold a cell phone. The adjustable straps in the back help when I get too many freebies from the chef.

I opened the package and really liked the way my vest looked. Unfortunately, although I usually wear a medium, this was just a little small. Recommend the next size up to what you’re used to. But that could just be me

Wow! My fiancé was in need of a good quality and affordable vest option for the wedding and the Voboom Men's Slim Fit Herringbone Tweed Suit vests were great! He's the professorial type with a penchant for tweed so this was right up his alley. I'll be honest, I was a little worried about ordering this product as it had no reviews but based on their other product's glowing reviews we decided to take a leap of faith on the vests. We ordered every single color to test them with different outfits (i.e. burgundy suit jacket, navy suit, etc.) and every single one of the vest colors were a lovely dark classic tweed hue that created this lovely rustic palate in any combination. I absolutely loved the Army Green for it's dark olive color. We originally planed to only keep one for the wedding, but because of their quality and price we decided to keep every one of the vests (barring the Khaki color due to the fact that neither of us were crazy about the yellow undertones). Oh! Also, we noticed that the sizing chart seemed oddly large in scale, but after having tried the S, M, and L, we realized the best fit was a S, and he typically wears a 38 in jacket size and usually picks M, but for whatever reason, these vests run a hair larger than usual.

I should preface this by saying my wife and I use the same Prime account (hers) and so our id is a bit misleading as I am a man. I bought a matching brown herringbone tweed vest and tie. They are as described and arrived in two days. I couldn't quite figure out what size to order, as I am ordinarily a size medium, but the size chart measurements suggested I get a large. I'm 5'11" 165 lbs and wear a size 43 regular suit jacket--42 is generally a bit tight and I swim in a 44. My shirt size is slim fit 16 x 34, and pant size is 34 waist 32 inseam. I would describe myself as having a slim to athletic build. I ordered a medium vest and it was tight--the measurements referenced in the size chart are therefore quite accurate--not that I believed them. I returned the medium and ordered a large with no hassles and received the large 2 days later. It fits perfectly. As others have mentioned, the lining sheds, so it needs to be rolled down with a lint roller. I will take mine to my cleaner to be pressed after shipping (it comes folded). It is exactly as pictured and listed and is very fun. The pockets come closed and will have to be opened if you want to use them. The tie comes pressed and neatly folded in a bag that keeps it from creasing so it does not need pressing. It's nothing fancy, but matches the vest, and so will serve it's purpose. My big plan is the wear the tie and vest as contrasting complements to a medium blue plaid suit I recently bought and that is still with my tailor. After trying both medium and large, I would say size large for a size 42 through 43--maybe an athletic 44 on the 43 side of 44. Medium for 40 to 42 on the 41 side of 42 (I am on the 42 side of 43, meaning if I buy a 43 suit off the rack, my tailor has to take it in a little). The quality is good and the material is the tweed I remember from when a 3 piece tweed suit was a required element of any well dressed man's wardrobe (admittedly a long time ago now), and should produce that kind of nostalgic reference in a modern setting. In any event it is well priced (I paid $39.99 with free Prime shipping for the vest) and at that a bargain. Recommended.
